Symptons of a snapped ring?

    Okay maybe not....
    Started doing it again. Haven't seen my mate with the air gun so haven't been able to change springs.
    My brother was wheelying it and it started playing up after that?
    I took the float bowl off and blew the jets out and made sure float was okay.
    Took the plug out, its a nice chocolate brown now but cant work it out??
    Gonna have a nose about tomorrow and see what it is saying.

    Float and jet are fine. I just let it warm up for 10 minutes, then went round the block on it, yet again its still running really rough.
    I need some one to film it to explain it fully.
    Basically, its just doing the same as before.
    I might put an airbox on an go down 10% (about an 88 jet sound right?) on jet size to compensate for it?
    I would put 20.5 back on but i lost tha needle >: (

    It's not after a certain speed, its if I'm just under full throttle.
    If I'm not full throttle it sounds like its miss firing/flooding
    It revs fine on the stand, but when I get on it it's a different story?

    Tried rolling on throttle from 25ish, half throttle it just bogs out but full throttle its fine.
    Kinda narrowed it down to in between quarter and full throttle is when it does it.
    £50 cash in hand to the 1st person to set it up correctly for me.
    I've had enough of this fucking carb now.

    Standard springs as far as I know.
    But I cant work out why it works fine 1 day and fucking shit another.
    tbh I think it's to do with the weather...
    My mate has to completely change his set up on his rotax when the weather changes.

    With your set up I'd be running green/blue springs but I don't want you to piss about with it as I could be wrong. :wtf:

    if its fine on the stand but off the stand its shit its rollers or clutch

    drop the roller weight slightly

    My 180 was: 25mm carb, green clutch springs, 12.5g rollers, PM59 although yours varies a lil.

    Managed to flog an old Onza trials bike for a nifty.
    Tbh I don't think it's the rollers causing the problems because it pulls so well
    (When it wants too...)
    It runs good some days and then goes back to playing up on others.
    It normally does it when it's really cold (all the time)
    But when we have a day which is a bit milder it doesn't do it.
    So I'm gonna get some 12.5g rollers, and a variator an clutch holding tool?
    I've already got the springs.
    As my impact gun is fucking wank.
    Or could take it to JB tuning and as them to quickly whack them in?
    As they about 5 mins down the road from me??

    Right, Went out today seeing as it is a bit warmer today.
    Let it warm up for 10 mins, Revving it off the throttle it didn't seem as snappy as usual. So I turned idle speed in by half a turn and it is okay now :D
    Running fine, wonder how long till it plays up??

    Right, I've fucking had enough now. Went to put 20.5 back on today, as I was compressing spring to put throttle cable in slide, spring pinged off an went some where to never be found again!! >: (
    So I went to JB Tuning, They wanted £15 to change clutch springs, an charge £55 an hour for jetting.
    I then went to Kegra, bought a size 88 jet and put an airbox on.
    It ran fine ALL day until about half 5 then went tits up >: (
    It now sounds like the bike is on the brink of destruction.
    All sorts of fucking noises coming from it.
    Rattling, backfiring sorta noises and fuck knows what else.
    Temperamental as fuck, Some times I just gotta touch the throttle an I just shoot off to about 65.
    Gonna put it into JB me thinks. I want 25mm jetted for airbox. And a bit of port work if I haven't damaged my cylinder. Thats a gon be my xmas present from all the famo me thinks.
