id personal say this this is the more powerful kit, but for 30 odd quid more id question how worth it it really is on a low tune, depends really what pipes on there and how much power u want him to have!
why is the iron kit better than the alloy one then? and which one of those is the iron one? sound like a complete dumbass but I like to be clear on everything  ta for info
get the first one, second one is slightly more powerful iron kits are better in some ways, they produce less power, but once run in properly they last forever
I'm having a right problem with scooter center at the mo....just trying to order some parts total should come to £108.17 BUT when I go to pay using there saferpay for credit card payments it comes up as £157.94 :wtf:...so I rung them and told them and they don't know what the hell Im going on about  ....told them in german and english what the problem is..the bloke still dont understand :rtfm: ..so now have sent an email arc: He also said I have a 12 Euro "gutshien" or credit with them.....news to me LOL :msn1:
I ordered with them yesterday and it did the same thing. I take it you was using saferpay or whatever its called? Basically when you check out, make sure the shopping cart is in Euros, then it will show up as 157.94 euros i.e. £108.17 pounds...... It must be a glitch or something but its done it to me every time I've ordered.
Why? I ordered about £400 worth of parts from there and it did the same thing as what it did to lady Tango. Just change the cart to Euros before you check out and everything is kushty.
yeah i had the same thing when i ordered my 70 bore, but when the credit card bill dropped in it charged me the right amount.
di, deffo grab the cheaper one, can always bung me the 40 to make it the same or more spec as the 100 quid item, its the same barrel afterall.
Update: Found out it was the oil pump belt that had gone, so inevitably it heat siezed the piston etc, after waiting near on three weeks for scooter center to pull there fingers out there arses and send me the Polini 70cc kit I had ordered, it finally arrived and I got it fitted at a local scoot shop. When I picked it up they said to take it round the block a few times so it could "clear its throat" :w00t: ...it ran like a pig with 3 legs to be honest, so have just rejetted the carb from a 98 :wtf: down to a 88...will see how this affects it and see from there. One thing that got me confused though was the thread size of the main jet in the dellorto 21mm carb, I would of thought it to be a 6mm thread, but have found out its a 5mm thread, lucky I have a few of those from a mistake I made yonks ago with thread sizes  ...so alls good for now fingers crossed unk: Now for the running in of the new kit arc:
