it varies who you which tuning company you have the springs off to be honest and they normally say best off emailing pedparts asking them which would be best for the set up you are going for

I mixed rollers before i mixed 4.5's and 5.5's i think that was pretty good and the rollers were mixed in my current aerox when i got it but the acceleration was shocking and pulled to 15 mph and topped out at 30 lol so i just stuck some 4's in and other new parts worked a treat

Wait till you have installed your 70 kit and tested it mate before you play with your roller weights

could you help me? i ordered my bore kit from pm tuning as everywhere else are saying 2-3 weeks for a delivery. i also ordered a polini hi-speed variator which obviously come with a clutch spring. put it altogether and its absolutely screaming at 30mph ?? what could be causing this

    rollers need to be about 6g actually. I ran a sport.pm crank/skf bearings/tt exhaust, ran 8.9bhp at 58mph.

oh well mate the good news is clutch's are not that expensive to be honest with you , also you dont need a 21mm carb to run a sport 70 kit i ran mine on a 17.5mm carb and it ran perfect with no problems and was easy to set up

yeah i did have a look they arent that expensive. and the only reason i was thinking of getting a 21nil as they are cheaper than the 17.5 :) but as i dont have a clue on how to set up carbs ill go for the easiest :) once ive had a time of the sport kit i wanna save up for some race bits and see how long i can make it last :)

well in fact your standard carb might be a 17.5mm dellorto with it being a gilera if that's the case alls you need to do is increase the main jet size

nah the standard carb is a 12mil carb and ive already bought a bigger 88 jet to try and run the open filter it does work just needs tuning but obviously with the clutch being broken and the exhaust being a bastard im not putting the bore kit on till its consistant so i dont need to give it a handful when running it in and causing damage
