sr50 injection/70 kit.

this is actually for my own scooter, not to fimilar with injection, put a 70cc kit on my scooter, won't fire up, it's the injector thats at fault as it fires up with fuel in the barrel.

going to get a new injector to try out but anyone else got any ideas?

its a pain in the arse tuning a ditech, they just about work standard mate

injectors constantly fail cos the compressors just dont like high rpm

if you want simplicity mate, do a carb conversion and set fire to the ecu and throw it in the canal.

you should have bought the correct kit for the ditec.. it has a new ecu. but yes. blank off the second hole in the case, bang a carb on an switch the wiring.. big mess of uselessness

the kit i bought is a polini, 3 years ago though! with it i got everything including the injector adjuster, which was a whole load of bloody o rings with no way of seeing where they properly!

if i can't get a cheapish injector, i'll convert it, sounds easy enough if i can use the same throttle cable etc which im sure i can.

wish i had just tried it first without adjusting anything! didn't have much of a clue with injection set ups though.

to conver it, i'd need carb manifold, carb. maybe airbox? and ECU?

there is a diff ecu (electrical control unit) for use with race type barrels/pipes..

already decided im going to keep it for a few years so i'll add bits as i go on
