they should teach this in schools  fuck RE this is the stuff. i love it quality book. just one thing minor going to be more posts for you when i rip everything apart and cant put it back together
imp: am going to keep reading this book then soon as i get a car and have another form of transport engine is coming out and am going to attempt crank and matching and flowing cases and what ever else i pick up from this book in the mean time imp:
go for it... remember, there was a time the writer of that book knew nothing about tunning, i also ripped my first bike engine apart without a clue and made sily mistakes same as everyone, if you try and read lots its a matter of time. anyone can port, its the 4 years fucking up that puts people off
once i got another form of transport i aint bothered about fucking it up. will just strip and try again. if everyone was the same didnt take risks and make mistakes we would all be still living in caves with bits of leather around our bollocks. so soon as i got transport. the funs begins
ye, best bet is build another engine from scratch an leave yours alone swapping an engine twice is better than fitting an engine that doesent run.
yeh was thinking about that get a set of cases with crank in. and just stripping and rebuilding that a few times to get a feel for it. and abit of flowing in them cases.
with flowing its about what you leave in not what you take out. still need to retain compression and you want maximum flow for minimal removed. can nock up a flow bench with a simple fan wind speed kit from maplins (build your own type with tube) and a hover.. then nock up some plates to bolt to the case and vwala.. can see if your engines working better or worse with what you have done
carb finally here. dosent look to have a idle mix :wtf: need to block vacuum and oil nipple up. the inlet and outlet of the carb looks rough and built shit so going to smooth all that out abit.
You running premix? Also where did you get your graham bell book from? As I really would like to get clued up on bikes. Thanks

Hi, welcome to ScooterShack, i'd recommend not hi-jacking somebody elses thread with your own problem and the chances of you getting a valid response is very low due to the fact you haven't even used the search, try it.
