Hi, I'm installing a stage6 streetrace 70cc kit and I was just reading about squish clearance and what can happen if you get it wrong, figured out how to measure it but do I actually have to worry about it? Like what's good and whats bad? And how am I supposed to adjust it?

Not that well read to say what happens. But it's quite easy to fix. Just measure with the solder tin trick. And measure it. Then adjust with the cylinder spacers I think you got with the cylinder kit."its a set with a few cylinder gasket in different thickness. They go at the bottom of the cylinder. Between cylinder and engine, if I'm not wrong is included in your kit. Otherwise buy new ones."

Unless you're going higher end build, just use the standard gaskets supplied with the kit.

Right, yeah I'm just running that cylinder with stock crank and 19mm carb plus s6 variator and clutch pretty mild so I dont need to worry about measuring and adjusting the squish then

0.8 squish band is nice and safe.
