Speedometer

    If your bike has been tuned and now exceeds the maximum MPH readout on your original speedo, have you changed the speedo to a different one to accommodate the speed you can do now, if so what have you changed it to.

    i have a bicycle one on the vf, it goes to 99 then back to zero, cheap as a cheap thing and works really well

    i bought a phone mount for my handlebars, i use an app for a speedo now:D

    Used an old wing mirror with a broken glass,taped an old ready meal tray over it.cut out a hole an left one end open to slide phone in. :D.

    works via gps, tells you altitude, distance, max speed etc

    How accurate is it, is it good enough not to get caught on camera or a speed trap.

    gps is very accurate i believe, try it along with your original speedo and compare

    I don't know what they are, can you give me a link to one, or the make and name of one if you were going to buy one for the purpose of a speedo

    i'm on android and i've only tried Ulysse Speedometer, if you're wondering what make my phone holder is, i can't remember, but you can pick one up from your local bike store or ebay

    That GPS Speedo is great much more accurate!!!! I run it along side a digital Speedo to check id set it up right and it was cock on just uses a lot of battery

    i have used the ulysse app works fine also android speedometer works great to,,,if you have a android phone that can accommodate apps just go to your app store type in speedo and they will pop up then just download them,,but you will have to have a internet (gps) connected via your mobile network
