absolutly nothing has been changed on this bike when i bought it! the tyres might of at a push! I have a standard exhaust on it still It sounds alright til I get to full revs and its constant drone haha I'll get a vid up tomorrow at some point! I'll get some rollers ordered next week will just get standard weight for now! I knew in the back of my mind after buying it I would have to replace that sort of stuff which I don't mind doing it will just be an ongoing thing as I only work weekends! should have 100 or so quid to spend spare next week so will get rollers and belt done!
yeah sounds familiar every bike i buy end's up being a long term project for a few months then il ride it for a dew month and either sell it or swap it for another lol , oh well keeps me entertained , if you do replace the exhaust eventually don't buy a technigas they always seem to fall bits and are not very good performance wise anyway , don't forget to up jet as well stick the biggest main jet you have in it if it splutters on full throttle when warm down jet in 2's till it runs without spluttering when warm and you should be good to go just keep an eye on the plug color .
I was going to get a technigas funnily enough then someone mentioned sure it was a doppler sr3 or something like that! probably be summer when I buy parts over 100 quid for it! But I think its a good starter at least it rides!
doppler are a good pipe mate i had one on my old derbi senda and it went like stink and sounded mint when i fitted it and yeah at least it gets you from a to b unlike my pissing bike haha
yeah should be good when done mate , mine needs a new piston and gasket set mate should have it done next week then got to put it all back together and wire my front indicators up hope it goes as smooth as iv just described lol
oh i remember you saying they sent the wrong stuff out or something? hope you get it sorted soon enough mate!
yeah me too mate hopefully be done by next weekend , yeah they sent me the wrong piston rings they were about 2mm too big and were cheaply made got a refund anyway , and for the sake of a few extra quid im going just change the piston it self as well as the rings then i know its going to be run in properly and so on
