oooo ok, yer the spunge would be like a VERY restrictive filter and would have a small(i think) jet. it would also be why it starts when it blocked.

buy or fit if you have a good air filter and buy a jet pack

no if it was restriced with the sponge fitting a filter that will flow better would need more fuel. like i said you need to get a jet pack.

I got a 70 laying around in my spares from when i had the my open sports air filter am going to try that and order a box of jets and rollers and see how it goes i wish there was a easier way to get to the jets instead of taking of the whole carb

hi i got my jets i started from 60 to 70 all the 60s it bogged down and when i done full throttle it died the 70 it stayed running even on full throttle but still bogged so i have to get more jets but am thinking since it stayed running with the 70 its in the 70 range. i didnt know you have to upjet so much for a sports airbox not even a open sports one i just put my standard airbox back on with a 56 jet

what air box do you have on? link me plz.
am open type filter would need arounf 20% more fuel, with 0% gains on a low spec engine.
sports exhaust need around 2-5% more fuel, with 10% power gains on a low spec engine
sports cylinder kit(70cc) need around 15% more fuel. with 50-75% power gains on a low spec engine

open filter just make noise and drink fuel.

The inlet where the carb sucks air through in to the carb is pretty big compared to standard which ia quite a small hole but i didnt think you would need to upjet that much since its a airbox
