Speedfight 2: Not Running Right With New Parts??

    Thanks again for your informative post ;)

    I'm running the stock variator and am trying to fit a stock size belt, so why should I be running in to problems with the belt being too wide?

    Looking at the photos - I don't think you've got the right belt. It looks too short to me. Have you compared the new/old one side by side ? What happens when you put the old one back on ?

    What pictures are you referring to (I've posted a few...lol)?

    The belt I'm trying to fit is the size that all the websites say is the correct size for a ac Speedfight 2 ( 17.5 x 8.3 x 765).

    Although the new belt is longer than the old one, you can see in post 8 that it is a tighter fit but I put that down to the new belt being a bit wider (also shown on page 1 post 8).

    With the old belt on there I can at least ride it but it feels like it could be better and the top speed isn't the best (probably because its too thin to go all the way up the variator).

    Get a washer on the variator ! Like the vid .

    I am still planning on trying that, I'm just having trouble finding somewhere that sells them.

    Try a spark plug washer. It's the right size.
