Ok, so not a million miles away from me then...........i'm in Kingstanding. If you can get the bike over to me, and yourself of course, I'll spend the day (or so) seeing what I can fathom out for you. If you need to leave it here with me, I can always drop you back home on the back of one of my bikes.
Dont drive else id happily take you up on your offer lol very nice of you to offer though mate lol im going to give the battery a good charge over night when i find my charger and see what happens then but if it was the battery the horn would not be clear and loud when pressed as ive had a bike with dead battery before and it sounded like a dying duck lol Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Steve p ive gone a brought a multi meter to test weather i have any power from switches and i cant seem to get 12v from either the light switch brake light switch or incicators am i kissing something simple as i have 12v coming out of ignition when its switched on but still nothing from switches Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Well, I don't know what your "kissing", but it sounds like you are "missing" a live feed from somewhere. You could create one from the switched side of the ignition (the wire which comes live when you turn it on), then put it to the live side of one of the brake light switches and see what happens then.
Just done that found out that im missing a live feed as when i connect a 12v feed to brake light switch the brake light comes on then the electric start works on the button but only when 12v is connected to brake light switch Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Clocks are still not working but unsure as to weather sitting for 8 years in a garden has wrecked the lcd display or broken them and ive had to call it a night on the bike atm as got work at 5 am and its starting to get dark so cant see what im doing lol Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Do you reckon this could be causing my issues if the clocks are not working maybe not sending power to the rest of the switches ?? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
