ouch hope your on the mend now mate!

i came off on a dark lane a few weeks ago in the worst rain ive seen for months *first day driving in the bad rain too* and my bike jst decided to slide down a verge and sink haha, it only gave me a little scratch but it taught me to be more careful.

Also, avoid them manhole cover things, especially on corners in the wet, theyre a death trap on a moped, you slip straight out!

Your a dumb bastard and are going to end up hurt!
    PLEASE sort your brake lever.
    For me.

Kieran it's a royal bastard isn't it, good for drift practise at slippery stunt spots.

After i got in from stunting my hands were black.

    Ouchies.

Ye, CBT is absolutely piss easy.

In one way it's good as it takes no effort,

But it would be better if we learnt hazard perception, I can't judge half the hazards on the road lol.

I was too busy concentrating on the tractor at the side of the road rather than the car braking in front, so really it's my fault for being a dumb ass and not concentrating.

i did a cbt plus course if anyone else has done it they will know that its fairly useful for learning extra skills and hazard perceptions *well mine was*

Wtf @ people saying let pressure out your tyres. Ive been told NOT to. Run them at near enough the exact pressure there meant to be run at,no more no less. Fags saying lower the pressure, that will most probbably aid you in coming off ffs especially in the wet & ice.

letting air out of your tyres means they go flatter.

meaning more of the tyre is in contact with the road surface.

    meaning more grip.

as jamie said, letting pressure out gives greater surface aarea on the road, the only thing you have to remember is that you have to adapt your riding style otherwise you will end up on your arse.

i've sussed it, near me none of my roads are gritted so i just use the grass verge, theres more grip there.

get some armour ,ride mine every day the weather is just another factor in getting that buzz,if its ice just take it easy till you get the feel then have fun with it,improves skills for dry days practice makes perfect and all that.my two pence worth on the tyres is keep em at normal pressure ,if you hit ice no matter how much tyres on the road you are gonna slide :D
