Hey, so I just last week changed my belt/variator/clutch with what I'm pretty sure were as close to the originals I could find to solve a belt that was on its way out after being damaged on one side and dodgy acceleration (variator plate had a chip and rollers were square) but now it really seems to struggle up any kind of hill. There's also a high rpm whine when I start off that I didn't have before.

Could this be because of the new variator rollers being too heavy? Gearing up too fast and being too high for hills? My finger is on the trigger to get some more but I need to double check the weights of the ones in there right now. As I said the previous rollers were square so I can't base new ones on their weights (~12gm on basic scales right now) because I assume they would be pretty far off what they were originally.
