the ball has started to roll ordered bgm 52 crank ,bearings and seals oil pulley and belt water pump kit front pulley fan malossi multivar from scooter center and a clutch bell from pm as soon as there here i can give it wobbly and he will work his magic
just think of the pub ammo you grt from this, i remember riding to exeter (i live in the midlands) about 150 miles then burning out a valve. 11 o-clock wednesday night and we got work in the morning by 7, with a top speed of 20 mph or putting a con rod thro a crank at 80 of losing a sump plug outside a big cinema que...ive got hundreds of them...signs of a well spent youth
all the bits are here, engines out ready to go to wobblys tomorrow, steam cleaned it even had it in front of the fire to dry out,can wait now :w00t:
nothing more satisfying way to get peace of mind than a new crank, and it feels so much smoother too. best of luck
those clutch bells look nice man... drill out some holes inthe tranny cover or write "shiny red" above an below the nut LOL
you could make me up a perspex tranny cover minor :w00t: yeah got one areo ,got to put mine back together yet though?
i can do, buit it gives the engine all its strength.. usually crack from lack of bolts on the cover/too tight a cover.
well done chris, just trying to sort out when i can come and get it ,want to come now but the wife got my weekend worked out for me
oh if it was that simple minor :w00t: but who wears the sexy nix or not if you get what i mean :w00t: :w00t: back on topic my reeds have started to fray on the ends(malossi block and carbon reeds)been looking at the pm reed block is it worth it or is just a got to have cause pm sell it type thing :msn1: my engines ready no more 4 stroke :bird:
aerox came up yesterday 57 miles man and (he wont mind me saying this)he did it on the roughist looking runner i have ever seen , so rough it was cool :w00t: got the engine back and just doing all the bushes waiting on a rear shock and i can try it out cheers chris
