Off its head! haha not sure yet might go with 183 setup or a ported to f*ck high rpm 172 gotta look into it more and see whats more fun lol, this probably wont end up being updated until the end of summer as i really need ma beemer on road and its costing a bomb in parts, cant be rolling deep if it dont look bliing!
Fair enough 172s can be quite fun with a little bit of work and alot cheaper not sure if a 183 speedy has ever been done? Youd probs get bored of peds by christmas with 2 183s though lol
hmm might go 183 depends on the difference in power like i say i need to look into it more, and i probably will get bored but ill never loose intrest lol im gonna keep this project as my next winter project.. need to keep myself occupied during the boring weather, still gotta build my dads FXR-SP Runner but its hard to find the time. slowly but surely at the mo
big difference in power, the 172 is like the race set up. i know there is less CC's but it rev higher, and pulls like a whore. but that said i would think the 180 would be more reliable
Its getting that time of year where real men hibernate in there sheds and build contraptions.. as soon as iv finished putting the roof on my garage extension ill be finishing off this project and to be honest i cant wait, iv got boxes and boxes of new and refurbed parts ready to bolt on its just a case of getting the engine mount welded and getting on with the build.
YES, it like the malossi 77cc is faster then the airsal 85cc, power is not always down to the capacity. on an auto engine speed is made by the max RPM when there is still power. airsal max 12,000 rpm, malossi 15,500rpm
Been working on the garage alot lately so should have enough room to get on with the project soon. And i bought another speedfight2 for my nephew 50cc gonna fit a piaggio 50cc engine and tune it up, the peds in good condition for age as i rebuilt it for the lad recently, ended up paying 250 for it, ill post some pics soon..
