Polini all the way and agreed, the carb you have (the PHBN 12) is totally unuseable on a 70 kit, mine struggles with my setup so deffo get the carb and gear up before the variator.

dont think im going to bother risking getting the 70's kit now considering i only have a provisional licence after reading a thread on here :msn1:

Il still get the variator though and a better exhaust to try and sort this speed thing out

Fair enough I know some might think you're a mug but at the end of the day it's your ped, not theres, and if you got caught then it's your ass not theirs. Get a Laser X pro chrome and a polini vario, filter and it's all good for you

Errr no it isnt....the worst thing you can do if you cant get it running properly is to chuck more parts/money at it and end up even further from perfect....if he cant even set up an exhaust and doesnt understand the transmission atall, how the hells he going to get what you just suggested to work well? the answer - he wont.

Learn how to understand/feel the transmission first, and dont listen to the ''heavier for top speed, lighter for accel 'tards'' and then theres the jetting which takes time to set up perfectly. So get your exhaust working well first, and then think about a sport variator, but the WORST thing you can do is -------->
whoever said that, pass me some of whatever your smoking :pimp:

The viper is abit shocking so a better exhaust really is needed, but even so you can set them up to run fine (as in no flatspots, im not talking gained power) so if you cant set it up, its not going to be easier setting up another exhaust especially with a pod filter as there useless on standard barrels

Well for a standard barrel to tune it's not gonna require much past the variator and exhaust, but I only said the filter because they give a 50 ped some kudos, and whatever you do a standard barrel ain't gonna fly so why not make it sound fruity ??? :punk:
