Yeah that was my worry with that hynes book lol but cheers for looking will have a look at the link later and see what's what's lol just another thing was reading the manual and says about changing the oil more frequently when riding full throttle since I cover just over a 1,000 miles a month and it get more then it's fair share of been at full throttle would you change the oil every month and with the gear oil says every 2 years so every year say because I am doing a lot of miles on it

That what fall down to personal choice, recognition of your riding style, budget, maybe even peace of mind.
You could settle for maintenance figures & 1/2 it.;).

Maintenance figures for Final Reduction gear oil:-
    (SAE 90)

    Draining - 0.10 litre (0.11 US qt,0.09 Imp qt)

At disassembly - 0.12 litre (0.13 US qt,0.11 Imp qt.

That's outta the manual, when i get back tomorrow,i'll run you off the figures from the engine case,
Don't forget to clean your Engine oil strainer screen when you change your main oil/located below an just slightly forward of where your kickstart attaches (03 model) - with that sort of minimal mileage i'd do it for peace of mind.

Cheers mate sorry to ask so many questions lol and yeah was planning on doing that as well with the oil strainer screen.

So with 0.12 litres going back in what's what to ml would it be 1 or 2 bottles?

Also do you happen to know what size washer the drain bolts use as going to replace that too and the o ring size?

Think that's c120ml - size of 1 of those bottles i showed you,
E/bay has drain bolt washers 2-3 quid/bolt an washer set 6-9 quid,as for o-rings...don't get ripped off & buy yourself one of those joblot multipacks, much b.cheaper ;)

Washers......you could measure what you have already... ;).,as for o-rings/ditto,
£4.00/though there are some larger amount specific sizes ,always a no brainer weighing up against the cost of the 'actual' + you have spares, esp.if their in tens :). IMAG0164.jpg

I see them look the business compared to individual lol look at the oil drain plugs see you can get magnetic ones which look good and a easy swap over

Stay away from aluminium washers.they tend to split if tightened too much,as for the multipcks, comparision against an individual item ' specifically' made for your ride ,like duhhh.:)
