I think that is more than high unlikely. You would be wasting your time. Where did you read theses reviews? If it was on their website or any site affiliated to them (ie where they advertise) I'm sure they wouldn't display any bad reviews anyway.

I mean 80 quid isn't much considering they fixed it and delivered it.
If you are happy that's all that matters.
The thing is, you learn by doing. If you teach yourself how to fix these things it's a skill.
You didn't know where your spark plug was and now you do, think about it, you learnt that and stored it in your brain.
Next step is to learn how the transmission works.

It was yell .com? As in yellow pages. Funnily enough they were all positive?

That’s what I thought because they came and picked it up and dropped it back and had to diagnose the issue first then fix it..

At least I got them down from £125 to £80! I wander if I pushed could I have got more refunded! Perhaps! Even if I took it apart how would I tell it was the choke? My mum said it sounded like the choke and she was right!

Yeh I agree I need to and have learnt how to do this myself next time and save a lot of money and time waiting for the mechanic to be free to fix it!

Transmission! That sounds far too complicated! I learnt about the battery the spark plug and a little about the spark plug hole and also the auto choke.

They can't be that bad then. As scuba said as long as you are happy. I don't consider 80 squid that expensive for London in the slightest :)

Maybe go on a mechanic course if it would interest you. That's what I want to do if I had time. My problem is I'm sitting at my desk right now (office security) doing f**k all when I could be doing more useful and productive things. But if I don't sit at my desk doing f**k all most of the time I don't get paid most of the time lol.

Just spoke with is use every and they said having a god tracker that’s not in the system might not make any difference to the policy! How bs is that! Of course it should as the likely hold of it being recovered is much higher!

YEah it might not but it will help your prevent your bike from being nicked. Having said that I don't have a tracker but then I have but I have one of those snake logs attached to my bike. Work brilliantly.

You guys should find the Honda common service manual to download and read, it's pretty much a Honda "how to" guide to being a motorcycle mechanic.
    Maybe carlsalter.com has it?

Yeh for sure. Actually it won’t prevent it from getting stolen just recovered and that’s not guaranteed ...
    What’s a snake log?

Sorry, I meant lock, not log. I posted a video of it somewhere.

Isn’t. Snake lock a bit thin? I have two thick chain locks kryptonight and oxford but I only use one.

I’ve purchased the tracker as it’s cheap and I think if it does it jobs it should hopefully tell me where the bike is if it gets stolen.

You got one? Nice one. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. Hopefully you'll never have to make proper use it. I always use disc locks front and rear too.

The thing with chain locks is they are easy to cut if they are low down, as you can lever your weight on bolt cutters against the floor if that makes sense?
