I've just bought a Honda Lead scooter and need to secure it on my driveway. I have a chain but there doesn't seem anywhere obvious to feed it through as there are no spaces in the wheels. Can anyone advise how to overcome this as I'm a complete novice?! Thanks

hi, will the chain pass between the wheels and either the forks or rear shock...
You want to feed the chain/padlock through something that's an integral part of the bike-
not something bolted or screwed on,not too familiar with the lead (any gaps you could feed it
through/round frame say over/under floorboards?,just asuggestion, you might want to chain it
to something (anything awkward or heavy) as it makes it less attractive to someone either end
lifting it.
P.S.,if chain/padlock combo. not long enough you can usually get an affordable bigger set/ part
at some market sales, though i'd just go for chain and use a decent padlock+get yourself tin of
wd40/dp60-(lubricant (s) ),so should give years of good service.
But i personally believe it's a very good idea to chain to something awkward as some bikes are
just nicked for parts and would make it very difficult to load into a van.

Over the floorboard work's and as said chained to something solid, also a cover keep's peoples eyes off it.
Only put cover on mine to protect against weather,Over the floorboard work's and as said chained to something solid, also a cover keep's peoples eyes off it.
good call mind as you can put any no. of gizmos in hiding behind cover
that could go off if taken off or pulled away from bike even
if taking a quick look.
i have a attack alarm/rape alarm i wedge in a certain place on the ped and the pull cord is clipped to the cover if anyone lifts it of then the alarm starts screaming its nuts off till the pin is put back in the alarm

There are many kind of security devices and locks available in market for security. You can easily find that is suitable for you.
