resonance wave was DISCOVERD not invented... and it was just a stumbeling block where an engine made the same power, made less nopise and used less fuel then people started thinkin about why and figured it was the pulses inside the pipe.. they thought instead of fighting pressure waves, time the pipe so they suck an compress inside the engine. the animated gif shows the principles verery well, its applying them to a peice of sheet steel that was the hard bit, its all old news now tho so we can borrow 20 yuear old technology to tripple the power of our engines.
im probably asking a daft question.but if you dont ask you dont know.. how is the piston moveing up and down makeing the wheel move.. looking at that pic i cant figure it out lol
crank spins the variator + flywheel. variator spins with the belt + clutch until its hits a certain rpm (as the clutch shoes move away from center) then they engage with the clutch bell which is attached to gear input which is connected to he gear output which spins the wheel.
when the spark plug fires the compressed gasses (air/fuel) ignite and the force of the burn pushes the crown of the piston downwards... and because its connected to a crankshaft it returns just in time to be pushed down again the variator is bolted onto the crank that is connected via a belt to the clutch
basicly.. imadgen a wheel on the centre of the thing at the bottom... the transmission just makes use of this spinning.,
of course i have minor although ive still got a few bits and bobs to buy set up wise... saw a young lad today on an aerox, dont know if hes from off here?? anyway blue aerox, technigas pipe (no baffle packing :msn1: ) motorcross helmet and goggles.... he was giving it the full beans up this steep hill, i passed him 1 handed wasnt really trying....as i passed him, his pipe was so loud i couldnt even hear my own engine :wtf:
was thinking more along the lines of city 16 and 25mm dell 1st but i do need to do something wheel wise, your right minor!!!
i thought it might be 1 of the Aerox owners from off here his pipe is far too loud really...the police will have him eventually :wtf:
jus chuck some vids of it as is... then faster vids once you got the bits.. be interesting to see how it goes with the 20.5, box and lazer
