Runner engine strip down and re-build

    to take the main bearings out the cases...tap em out with an appropriately sized socket and a hammer...be carefull not to damage the fragile alloy cases though ;)

    to put the new bearings in...you could use ice spray to shrink the bearing if you like or heat the case up with a hot air gun to expand it...or a mixture of both :D

    i learnt by doing it wrong lots and lots and lots.. i dont want you to suffer the same consequence.. instead be shown one and you know how to do it and will get it right the first time you do it alone. dw tho.. kill a nice new crank an bearings if you like :D..just hope it goes well if you do try it.

    60 quid to rebuild if your bringing it down.. sit down an watch an il talk you through it.. you can make the tea and roll up tho :D

    naah dont think im good enough really...if i fuck my cases up then thats too bad...but someone elses and its gonna be trouble!!

    its only due to minor giving me some tips i had a bash myself...

    im just gratefull for him sharing some of his knowledge and pictures about piggy engines with me :D

    looking very good dave, the Rep is a much closer fit to the piaggio cases than the evo, the ehaust port isn't actually THAT different really. easily moddable to evo specs.
