runner 50 cc running light and headlight not working

Hi,

I have this 2005 runner 50cc SP and the headlights, running light and instrument illumination won't turn on, everything else works fine (indicators, rear break light, starter motor and horn).

Anybody have an idea what's wrong?

 

Broken wire or bad connection at the back of the clocks

 

Okay I'll check them out, but is it possible that the AC outputs of the voltage regulator are blown? I don't want to buy a new one if not necessary. Thanks for the reply

 

if the regulator/rectifier was shot, all the bulbs would be blowing not just the dash.
The back of the runner clocks are notorious for corroding on the pcb board connections and in the sockets that connect to it.

 

Alright I'll clean them out and let you know how it went.
