runner 172 running problem

    there almost all idle mix screws as opposed to an air screw....

    this is an air screw (screw is befor the slide) out to lean (more air)

    this is a mix screw (screw past the slide) out to rich (more fuel)

    ahh yhyh speaking of which when u coming to fiddle with my bike so we can put her on a dyno and see what she gets :mrgreen:

    mehmet is sayin sommin about an engine rebuild.. can bring the engine/carb down and ill sling it in a frame to dyno it? upto you.. that or i mission there on a train (will have to cover my tickets and some foodies/somwhere to crash tho) living the other side of thew country has its advantages, it also has its downside

    bun riding... its twice the distance of reading from ace (talking 100 miles)

    upto you... can drop it to me (engine) and ill bring it down? can sort sommin out.. mehmet needs a van.. would be quids in bruv

    lol wow thats actualy far, im guna have to have a think about that, how long would it take to setup on the dyno and that would it be worth waiting there and taking it back or would i have to drop then go and u drop or i collect another day or something?

    yh thats alright ill prob come down sometime soon then ill just bring the engine and drive in car, will i need to order jets rollers etc or will u be able to tell me what ill need from the readouts?

    i have some jets, my pilot jets have gone missing (as have alot of my jets) need a few needles aswell (the ones i listed befor if you still have the message i sent ya) some rollers aswell (9's 11's 12.5's and 13.5's so we can make any combination)

    will get a frame/rad/bottle/cdi and coil sorted and built up ready to throw an engine in... can go from there, give me a few weeks and ill be ready for ya

    weel take urs so i dnt have to take mine off :mrgreen: i got all the jets from lowest to highest for 25mm to 28mm carb already have 12.5 rolers and 13.5 i think will order some more and i dont know what pilot jets i need to order so if you would be kind enough lol

    okay then batty man,yeah same about the jet thing. i dont know what ones lol.rollers an belt is what i need if im rite? and a gasket set.

    get 48 through 60 in the pilot jets, the needles and some light rollers (just had to put 9g's in a 178 to even get it to rev up, happens when you get harsh wiht the timings) needle's are a must.

    ok, if you would be kind enough could u pm me exacly what needles and that to order and shall we just get 1 of everyfin u say and go halves? cant see us both runnings same needle pilot jets etc but just let me know incase please

    back on topic, my bikes running niiiiiiiiiiice now, my belt was nearly in pieces so i put a standard 125 one in for now and my rollers where square.. its moooving now :cheers:
