Runner 125 vx starting troubles

    Any ideas on bypassing it? and the bike is legit btw :D

    nope, its an immobiliser and cant be bypassed as far as i recall

    your gona need new barrels and lock set and a new cdi to match, should be around £100 i think from the gilera main dealer which is where you will HAVE to buy it. Reason being because you should need a frame number and proof of ownership to buy the set.

    might be way off but when i got my vxr it had been standing and i had to reprogram the key ?

    yer but he has no keys, then again the ignition is live so it might not be that.

    4 strokes include a few more checks for bad starting, like valve clearances, oil filters and oil

    if its been sat then the oil and filters are gona be shite so replace, check clearances on valvas (not sure whether engine has to be hot or not tho), new spark, fresh fuel and get kicking mate.

    Will change the fluids, and the VXR's dont have a kickstart :emb:
    so lots of easy start and fresh fuel,
    thanks guys for the help will get back 2 you when been back down the yard,
    the bikes only gonna be used as run around down my uncles breakers yard, faster then walking :D

    try puttin a dna 125 cdi & barrelling the bike my mate said it worked for him the bike jus goes a lil bit slower

    Just to say, valve clearences should be check with the engine cold.

    Well i got turning over with easy start, it jus sounded like there was no fuel going it to the motor. Now Minors told me that i would deffinatley need a key, i just strip it for parts.

    Dont matter either way mate ,
    im gonna strip down that bike for decent parts and focus on tarting up the Aerox now, then go back to my old NRG which is long due a typh 125 conversion :pimp:

    oi oi badman. the answer is buy a malossi cdi or make sure you have the keys in the first place not start bodging dna cdis to it that proberly arent set up right thus. being slightly slower
