Zx is a good exhaust, i used to own one about 4 months ago shame the bracket broke doing about 50mph (clock speed) :(

Yeah i would buy it, if you don't like it wack it on eBay and you might get £25 for it. £10 for a RR end can would be a good buy!

    ye, i agree with general,

a stock pipe aint as good as a ZX or any other sports pipe really.

Also, my stalker had more top end with a tecniwank compared to a zx, the build quality is terrible on a tecniwank, brackets are terrible, rusts easy, and metal just peals off after it rusts.

But performance e wise they aint as bad as ppl make out I don't think.

but the do start to fall apart after a week :pimp:

they make no more power.. just move it up so your bike revs and you think its better, the top speed is increased slightly and if you check the dyno graphs on the main page a techniwank as you all state actually makes more power. the zx IS a peice of shit as far as sports pipes go and thats exactly what it is advertised as.

if it stated @stock replacment@ then id rate it. also the tt is cheaper looks better and outperforms it at lower revs so your engine will be faster and last longer. zx = pointless revs = dead engine real quick for fuck all gain. your next argument is? :D

    Language?

    ..only joking.

I had a rr on my old pugshite with a SEVENTEE SEE SEE kit and it made alot of difference as far as performance goes they have loads of torque and can keep well at top speed and revs..

mates just got one on his ludix snake, the thing does about 55 now from the poxy 45 lol.

    darren.

there is a dyno sheet floating about somewhere that shows zx compared to stock on an nrg i believe, minor you must have it somewhere?

the power curve is exactly, and by exactly i mean EXACTLY, the fucking same, just moved slightly higher up the rev range.

depends on what bike the zx is on

when i had one on my speedy 50 it made no difference

jack had one on his runner 50 and it made it fly

tbh im not botherd if anyone agree's or not. setup 50 odd bikes with zx's then try out some good pipes an you will all be impressed. fact is the lazer isnt exactly breathtaking anyway. gianelli reverse is about the best sports pipe IMO. with a little play tho a c16 works wonders on an iron kit. once you whitness how good a good pipe can be you wont bother with cheap pipes.

anbd no this isnt a dig at anyone with a lazer as there good for what there desighned for. zx is ment to be the same level and it just isnt. and remember there LOW END pipes.

who cares anyweay.. ignor me and be overtaken :D

yep, requires grind work.. lots to the exhaust atleast anyway. minimum is wider port and tract with a matched stub. around 3 hours work

LOL...ignore you...my peds based on your recomendations ;)

And i realise the zx is a (low end) sports pipe!!! I was just trying to say it dont work as bad as people say on a std 50 barrell or a low revving cast iron kit :D

HELL...i werent actually suggesting anyone go out and buy one...that would be madness :D

And yes i agree about the laser too minor...my next pipe will be a city16 with a MHR rep kit....as a daily rider...That still leaves me another piggy to build with maybe something fruitier ;)

It was but incase you didnt realise it led to a further discussion about the same brand of pipe, after his question was answered by several people.
