Willdo,ill probbably fit the 6.5s when ive done the exhaust. Whats the bets on the rollers in there atm being slightly shagged from being revved to fuck down big hills restricted. imp:
I know i was just saying i bet there slightly ruined. What is the best way to de restrict my standard pipe? Just about to order my rollers in a bit. Thanks for the help guys.
flaten it off.. cut it about an inch or two from the pipe and fold it up.. weld free and should be air tight if you fold it 2/3 times
Fitted my rollers today (they turned up). Was quite chuffed i fitted them myself,without fucking anything up. :rofl: Started the bike up once re-assembled and there were a few rattles,but i put this down to 'bedding' in and 'sorting itself out' as there are no more rattles now. Went up the road,seemed normal,waited to come out of a junction,cut out. I thought ok,didnt really warm it up for long ill just take it steady. Then when i gave it some i only managed about 35-36 on a flat..thought that was abit annoying. Then i came to some traffic lights and it cut out again. When i got going again i saw 39,and that was just taking it round the block. Then a while later i decided to go for a little ride to check it out etc and it only seemed a LITTLE bit slower (1 or 2mph difference) than when i had the standard rollers in,but now has much better pullof and uphill speed. So i think everythings alright? On the second run it didnt cut out either. Im thinking the restricted standard pipe could be hindering things,so ill be getting that 'done' pronto.
