It won’t be the variator making it rev like that
They come very well set up the variators these days

I’d contact ped parts about your variator there really helpful people and will help you resolve your issue and if not then I’d get rid!

And get the mollosi multivar one from pedparts I can highly recommend it and it’ll fit!

Ok didn't go well... was on my way to work and the bike died and now dosnt want to start. The engine hasn't seized and I didnt hear a bang so I don't feel like if blown the head. I feel like it's not getting fuel as I took the float off and was hardly any petrol in it and when I cranked it over no petrol even started to fill the float unless I pinched the line and let go squeezing little by little in even so i didn't manage to start it.

Also my fuel bar is blinking it's not low but all the bars are just flashing no warning lights on tho

Follow the fuel line from the carb to the tank and that’s where it is.

Ok all parts have come hoping to install them some tomoz and hopefully install it all on Saturday.
    Few things need help with

1.my inlet bolts are fucked last owner rounded the he'll outs them.. any ideas how I can get the inlet off I have a new one so I don't care if it gets damaged or ripped apart.

2.finding the fuel vacuum tap, where abouts is it and do I need to remove the fuel tank. And once iv found it do I need to bleed or do anything to it.

3.pray that my bike starts for me and dosnt die. Seeming it died out of the blue going full throttle and now dosnt wasn't to start.

For the inlet bolts use a hacksaw blade on top of each head then a big flat head driver to remove or a dremmel if you have one

The fuel vac, follow your fuel line from the carb. You don’t have to remove the tank and no bleeding!
