use a l/c drum brake hexcon or gilera engine then ,why convert it just use the a/c if your realy conserned about the cooling on a a/c then fiberglass a fan from a gilera runner on to the top off the clilder cover and make a maual switch ,but theres no need lee still has james 30bhp so that proves they last
u dont get me m8 i no they can be tuned i dont doubt that BUT what im askin this for is which is better .as i have 2 and could easily sell one to get another .its getin lowwered so i gtta do summert small drum .other thing i thought is electric fan instaed on a mechanical one .kyle whats wrong with the ac ignition n how would i go about swapping em m8 .also with the swapped ignition would it be exactly the same as the lc engine. kyle and otheres have told me the lc is slightly better but why SPECIFICLY is that . thanks for ya help
i belive they meen change the flywheel and stator plate and cdi unit .but u need 2 make hole to put fan back on fly wheel ,i think thats wat they meen ,go for a/c we need minor to conform this but i say go a/c
The ignition is better slightly, you can also run a malossi cdi then and you cant with a/c ignition Andy is selling a smal drum motor buy that nibbles mate then you can do w.e you want
i have an ac small drum engine bruv jus not a lc one i have a lc disc n ac small drum .im sure you guys understand that i need to be sure lol .how would i go about changing the ignition kyle or anyone
its simple take off the flywheel and stator plate remove wires from stater motor and put the l/c stator plate on connect wires then put the l/c flywheel on and change the a/c cdi to a l/c one if that helps o yer and make hole for fan to go on the l/c flywheel
yeah as said just use all the lc igniton (stator,cdi,flywheel etc) then just need to tap holes in the flywhel for the cooling fan. also being lc the temperature can be better controlled and kept closer to perfect running temp and theirfore have smaller tollerances but the diff is that small you aint really going to tell. ac is tried and tested and being used for fucking years and aslong as all the fins and cowling is in place and is ported correctly will last and not over heat. and with the lc ignition will be pretty really close to a lc engine and the engine lee now has is a ac 31.4 or something brake and lasts, also a ac is their is no radiator, water bottle etc which is saved weight. so the extra bit of power that a lc might have but has extra weight, is it worth it ?
well kyle uv took ma leg snapped it off ran to chine n back the tiwsted it back on .im gonna go ac then wich makes my engine stand me at a tenner lol .ty very much for all yout fo shizzle n now to answer the original q im goin for typh wheels there yummy
