Rear Light Problem?? HELP :(

Hi, Iv got a yamaha slider and it came with an LED rear light but theres a problem, when the engines running with the lights swithced off, the rear light seems to be constantley on and when i brake, the brake light works as intended.

But then when i switch the lights on my rear LED light stays on like im permanently breaking and when i do break nothing happens!
can someone please help as im on the road soon and need this sorting :banghead:
