ahh ok , Umm I cant remember at the moment but since I have put the clutch springs in it has been much better but it pulls of quick , goes slow , then when it hits the power band ,goes off again. I am beginning to think this could be down to it not being jetted and its bogging ? what do you think ? also do you know what size standard jet and size carb a 57 plate aerox has ?

I was having this slow take off problem and tried all sorts, turned out in the end that the rear clutch pulley unit (clutch itself was ok) was not squashing the belt enough to take it to the top of the pulley, even removed from the scooter and fully closed up the belt would not make it to the very top, it was quite close and but not using all the pulley.

As i temporary fix and a test to see if it was that I slowly squashed it by bit in a vice working my way round to close the gap and put it back on and the improved was huge, on my gravel drive it wheel span away :)

I am getting a new pulley and drive belt, this was just a test to make sure that was my problem before spending any more money as i had tried rollers, torque spring, racing clutch and a variator pulley plate :D
