So with all the sun now hiding behind constant rain, are you prepared for winter? I am, my bike isnt, I will swap to winter tyres next month and give it a service at the same time, also I need to make an airbox and snorkle up somehow. Anyone else do winter riding/prepping?

get the Honda in two weeks. winter tyres? nah for 3 days of snow pointless over here lol
ill be riding through winter, helmet cam at the ready too... all the cunts come out at winter and forget how to drive in cold/icy conditions.
looking at heated grips and bar muffs. will be spraying all metal on show and cleaning it all once winters gone.

winter tyres arent just for snow, they work for ice and frost too. im gonna coat all my bolts in coppergrease when i get the bike serviced too i think, save them from rusting (we have HEAVY salt here)

for ice and frost instead of winter tyres just adjust your riding, yeah I get the point of them etc but people need to learn to adjust their riding to the conditions, way I see it anyway, don't like winter tyres personally but each to their own. im just going to keep ontop of keeping the bike clean every few days and keep coating it in mechoil (brilliant stuff that keeps all the shit off) wont be very impressed if it rusts so quickly but still going to take precautions.
obviously wont be taking pillion when weather turns for the worse either, just common sense. usually its pretty easy to keep upright in snow and ice, but then ive only ridden lighter stuff in it, if it gets too bad I just wont ride and ill use gfs car.
