Pulse lightspeed 2

Hi guys I just brought a pulse lightspeed 2 of a mate it’s been sat a while he said it needs a new battery and a “module” cos the battery runs dead after a couple weeks ! Any ideas what he’s talking about lol I’m not well imformed with scooter

Hello buddy I have no idea what he's on about. You should ask him to be more specific and provide further clarification on the matter.

Module could be the ecu/cdi unit? I'd start by trying with a new battery.

 

Do you know what I have been searching things all day and cdi unit was something that kept coming up thanks mate

 

No worries. Let me know if I can further assist, but I don't know much about Pulse scooters. In fact I've never heard of them before in my life - looks similar to the pug speedfight.

 

If the battery is running dead its one of a few things.
1. The battery, not holding charge
2. The reg/rec. This controls how much voltage the battery charges at.
3. The stator. This is the part on the engine that produces electricity to charge the battery.
