I cant tell you 100% if its real, but im SURE its NOT a chinese rep! Got blata written all over it, a frame number is somewhere I belive, quite an old bike aswell must be around 7-8 years old now.

As for a price probably not alot mate lol make a sensible offer thou, I was keeping it for parts but I dont think im ever gonna use them.

But I will dig her out and get a picture up!

From what I remember, the engine is just worn out not actually seized, refuses to start, no compression and ran shit shortly before it died. So maybe it wants a good re-build.

The cooling system will be mank by now, the rad was rusty when I got the bike, now I dunno maybe completly dissaperd.

Brakes were tip top when it was last out. And I should imagine the frame and other parts should still be fine due to being in a shed. (which now has a leaky roof so again im unsure untill i dig the bike out and look)

Ok minor il see what I can do after work tomorrow, hopefully it will still be light enough by 5pm but if I get it out i can bring it inside for pics.

Would you want the whole bike or just the engine? Engine is already out of the bike im sure. And the rest is together I think.

Cant wait to see it actually! been 4 or 5 years since I last looked in the junkshed!

I thought you might have wanted just the engine. But yea its only gonna be binned at somepoint if I dont shift it! You can have the whole bike for whatever you think its worth once I get pics.

Have you got any cag/lucky 7 bits laying around that you dont want?

All this minimoto talk is making me want to splash out on my lucky 7! When I say splash out lol more like £200 should be enough to fully tune a chinese bike with bolt ons. I remember seeing "ported" billet headkits and all sorts of cheap shit going for stupid prices, like a score for a fullcycle crank lol all aload of shit quality stuff but should be fun tinkering with.

Where would you reccomend to get chinese parts from? All the old shops I knew years back have now shut down apart from DDM racing but they have nothing left just junk. I did notice that PBU are still open, They do some good headkits, carbs and exhausts for the chinese bikes (much better than the hong kong HK motors crap).. But they are expencive, like $300-$500 for a fully built engine.

its a chineese seller named hk racing for all the cheapo bits... but for 200 you should just rebuild the b1 m8.. your NEVER gonna see over 10 real horses from an old chainsaw engine (the cag's mostly use the 47cc mitsi engine, big boy LOL) even the rep engines nock out an impressive 7 odd horses...

but ye, less of the spam and back on topic me thinks... pm me the pics when you got them :)

Thinkin of heading up swindon on friday to get some proper testing done, all the ignition curves are set up and downloaded on to the cdi so just got to get the carb set roughly and see what breaks first (ring or coating). Should be interesting to see what it can do, hopefuly we'll have some curves to put up. Saying that ,theres nothing like being woke up by poping an engine at 19k (next door should love that). Looking forward to cuting a 6 port and geting a proper pipe done for it, might even get the crank balanced with the new piston on and give the titanium pin a go to get the weight down.

ye sounds good m8, need that tig so we can nock a pipe up really... the ones were using are literally 6 bits of metal so not the most complicated in the world. i for one REALLY cant wait to see what this little monster throws out. will have to get some vids up.

6 port will be the one i recon :D the 5 port is prittymuch past its lifespan i recon (still makin good power tho) but this will probably be the death of it.. ahh well. still hoping for 19/20ish out of scott's dyno (you worked out it was around 16 on his with the old case, crap carb and fixed ignition) peak power was so low wiht the fixed unit an carb i recon weve easily got 3/4 horses hiding in the upper range..

oh an a big thanks to wax so far for the help with the ignition, gives us a nice starting point. i may have to challenge that brain of yours a little more once things get interesting wiht this :D

and were already 2bhp up on his best engine wiht a set of grc cases, a roundslide carb, fixed ignition and a less than perfect pipe... we now have a better case, same barrel, v force reedblock (bigger) flatslide 24mm carb, programable ignition and a few other trick bits hiding away.... should be interesting to see the outcome.
