more updates nothing major really

i got round to fitting the side stand i cut the mount off the original bike it came off



i then mounted the engine back in place so that i could work out the angle i wanted



and then welded the bracket in place a vo la mounted with nice bit of lean





and this arrived in the post for me wednesday

btw i had elec start on a 70 with no probs in the time i had it

 

at the time i used kickstart mainly to be fair but i dont see how a 70 kit can be so much harder to turn over than a 50? i could easily be wrong tho

and ramo yea mg we are doing an engine rebuild on it for a customer, im guessing your talking about the one with the cover on it?

 

more UPDATES

well i had a parcel arrive this week from thailand



and inside the box...........





had a rough idea where i wanted it to go



i made up a bracket as my plan is to have it detachable for night and day time use



and this is it fitted







was a bit of a pain in the arse as the stem bolts were abit short and ended up ripping some of the threads out so i drilled out the top of the stem so that the bolts went further through and bosh job was done

cheers dude i had to think of an idea for the headlight due to the fact it would fail mot without one so made a detachable one so i can show off the bar conversion as in devon people here think that a race pipe and derestricted is a tuned moped so im showing how its done

i have some blue universal handle grips from my old bike somewhere if you wanted to buy them

 

you got any pics dude? i was going to go for yellow one's tbh lol

im going to respray my handle bars but not sure whether to redo them white or another colour
