Na not yet mate.

Spoke to my Dad about paints, dumb me forgets that he works in a bodyshop lol.

Was thinking of getting:

: Litre of pearlescent white...what car/bike can I get a paint code?
: Litre of mini cooper blue?
: Litre of primer
: Gallon of thinners (£15 lol)
: Litre of laquer
: Paint wipes
: 1500 wet and dry

Think that's all I need

 

mini cooper blue is a nice colour. ill have a think about that pearlecent white aswell. see iff i can think of a make that uses it

 

im not sure if its a pearlecent white. but its the colour used on audi A3's think its called ibis white. dont know whether that would be anygood for you or not but its a suggestion

 

this is a good prooject mate

 

the std typhoon pearl white looks good i has a tint of blue i had a typh in them coulors it looked lush

 

Mini cooper blue ain't too bad (on about the darker one)

That Ibis white is niceeeeeeee, I was wondering what audi used as their white, that is an option, cheers mate

Whilst I was looking for different colours including the mini cooper blue and the ibis white, I typed in candy blue, got back 'Honda Candy Tahitian Blue' which is on the new models. So typed in blue cbr600rr and found this :drool:

Gimme a chance lol. Well got the colour scheme sorted, 1 panel which I'll be doing tomorrow should finish it. My uncle is a sprayer and is getting all the paints for me and gonna help me out on what I need and checking the prep work etc. Gotta get hold of a 2mx2m gazebo to spray in lol...dunno where to get one from though. Undertray from eski, mudguard still need.

Couple other lil bits I need but hopefully get it all sprayed up this month and finished...hopes

Oh and eski, .......na lol fair enough. I'm going to repair it then make a mould of it to have a fibreglass undertray too and maybe make different designs and sell on ....found out how to do it reading up on the net.
