Not yet, still working on the frame and engine at the mo. Been thinking of using LEDs instead of the normal bulbs. I replaced the bulbs with Blue & green LEDs in the clock display on mine - looks really nice. Just a bit worried they're gonna burn out sharpish coz there ain't no resister in there with em (220 ohm i think they need)

I might nick the tax holder off my bro's XR while its in the garage... ;)

Mushy where did you pick up the led's behind the clock housing, my bro said he would get me some, but that was last year :(

Got them off ebay ages ago, just been sat around in my toolbox. They need to be 12v LEDs, had to cut the legs AND the little 'lip' than runs round the bottom of the LED so they fit in nicely where the bulbs go. You need to make sure the resister is still in there (220 ohm i think) as 12v without one will fry 'em straight away.

Also, check the polarity of the bulb socket before, as I found out the bulbs originally in there work either way round. I got a multimeter and a felt pen, then marked which side of the socket was + & -. Looks sweet in the dark :pimp:

yeah u got it mushy, wont be 220ohms on all power supplies , dpedns on the voltage drop across the led , current but 220 ohm will be fine as a rough number dosent need to be precise really ;)

also the negative leg of the led is the one with on the flat side around the rim at the bottom ;)

Right, got a mudguard but it aint that good condition, repairable and can be done but it got me thinking about modding a different one on there. I've seen alot of the euros do it but not sure where they get theirs from.

Anyone got any ideas on what mudguard I should use?

I've seen this one, not sure what it is though.

I wish :( ...Dad is ordering the compressor this week so I can start primering the panels ready for paint. Got 3 panels which are like nearly completed to do. Me and my mate finished 3 panels in one day the other day so these won't take long ;)

Will hopefully have this project finished by end of September woop woop. Gonna really get stuck in with it now because my retake was the other day so that is out the way.

O yeah Wolffy, does look mad don't it, I almost bought a 180 yesterday to start the next project off (for mine to keep) which will have alot of engine work and the panels will be mad again, similar front end to that and have like a bee sting tail so of thing

^^ Cheers mate, not finished yet :p

    Update (04/09/2008)

Well I been hard at it this week and I've managed to complete another couple of panels....leaving me with one!!! <--- Could maybe do it in a day or two.

Also got this in the post today so I can start spraying woop woop, gotta get some paint first though. Gonna primer all the panels n touch up any lil imperfections then ready for paintjob

    30 seconds later :D :

So now, all I need to finish the bike is:

    > Front mudguard (getting off a mate who has just ordered evos)
    > Undertray (where the f can you get one these days)
    > Battery
    > Numberplate bracket
    > Exhaust

Maybe a couple other bits but I can start spraying when I get the paint.
