I started 2 sand down panels 2day aswell but got bored after doin 1 coz i woz all alone lol :emb:

theres candy apple red and candy apple green paints on ebay (not aerosol) for about £25 a litre i think it was

We need 2 get hold of Cellone Paint and every Candy Apple Red we find is 2k, Jeff uses a Compressor wiv a spray gun so the Tins of paint wud b gd

Na not found any yet James, Ryan that paint is 2k, I need cellulose, I've asked the seller though. That 180 was already on my watch list but can't see it going cheap to be honest.

After 4 coats, got water on it, just about to rub down then lay 2 more coats on. Trust me the pic doesn't do it justice and there is no sun on it.



Doing 6 coats total, really start to shine, no pics of it yet though. Then going to rub down, spray the candy apple red, then laquer n polish

Leeroy, it's just cellulose, 2pac is illegal to spray in me back garden I think because of the dangerous fumes, n I'm only doing it in my shed so ain't got much ventilation lol.

Stopping painting for a couple weeks, working then holiday Friday

This is the undertray after a couple of days untouched. It has come up really white. It has still got to have the red on it, then lil sanding then a good polish with compound to make it really shiny and smooth. Coming along nicely

Finished spraying all the panels in mercedes artic white. Going tomorrow to get some candy apple red paint n little things I might need. This thread is worthless without pics so....
