Ah getting all slang on me are ya Lee!

The horn panel would just slot it as normal, might feel the lil vent holes to make it totally smooth, maybe a bit of fibreglass n filler to do the job.

nibbles, I'm deffo selling it mate, I can sell this and get a 180 and mod the fuck out of that with new ideas, total do over......or I could keep the vx, me thinks not lol

    Cheers Ry ;)

Haha dec, got a folder of 50+ pics of ideas and paint drawings ready

Yeah nibs, hopefully get a grand, just want it gone tbh, getting student loan friday  ..once I'm out of uni, it's gonna be solid work on it and another 180 when I bloody find one. Always get people coming round helping me then they drive to mcdonalds, don't usually pay anything  ...I won't be getting as many as you though I don't think nib, probs just private work, peoples panels, undertrays etc

Yeah as you say, when I start at something, I won't leave things untouched, if it's dirty or marked it will be cleaned/replaced...all about attention to detail. You could have a mint bike then the centrestand is rusted as hell n just ruins it. It's good fun when ya doing it n experience, that's why I did it anyway. The next 180 will be a keeper then just keep doing more to it every so often. Cheers though nibs ;) I can't wait to see it finished either

    Re: Project VX

I've lost alot of interest in doing it tbh, but April/May I got revision/exams so it won't be done till June I don't think, not alot to do left, but it's just time, I haven't got any.

    UPDATE (10/05/2009)

    Naaaaaaaat

28th May is my last exam then full time on this motherfucker  Got a lot of interest in doing it now with the good weather and seeing peoples projects, also the need to get a 180.

    Still left to do is:

1 Make second hole in undertray
    2 Buy paint
    3 Primer remaining panels
    4 Buy battery
    5 Get custom numberplate made
6 Get custom numberplate bracket made
7 Sort out horn cover - DONE
    8 Make bracket for exhaust
9 Get downpipe made for exhaust
10 Get sharp signs graphic done with paint - EDIT - going to use airbrush.
11 Buy lil engine casing cover - Someone buy me it, post me it

So all the above is easy to do, apart from the downpipe to be made, but simply need to find somewhere.

Also seen the paint I am going to use too, changed my mind to white and red I think.

    Mercedes artic white:

Ducati red with metal flake, not sure on metal flake yet though:

    UPDATE (30/05/2009)

Well, I had a look down the shed to see what needs doing....not alot :D

    The list:

1 Make second hole in undertray - DONE
    2 Buy paint - DONE - Half
    3 Primer remaining panels
    4 Buy battery
5 Get custom numberplate made - DONE
6 Get custom numberplate bracket made
7 Sort out horn cover - DONE
    8 Make bracket for exhaust
9 Get downpipe made for exhaust
10 Buy lil engine casing cover - DONE

Just bought some bits, all waiting for me in the post

    Mercedes artic white paint 2.5l
    Fine line tape
    1200 wet and dry
    Tack cloths
    Numberplate
Dust sheets (got given for free)
    Thinners (already had)

Already got primer too, so need to finish primering them, spray all panels white. Once sprayed, mask up and find a red to use. It's all go go go now, just need to wait for them to arrive then I can get started, can primer for now though

Dad will sort me out the exhaust bracket and couple of detailing parts unmentioned ;)...also me and him will attempt to make the downpipe, tack it up and get it pro welded, if it goes wrong, won't cost alot ;)

Will buy battery nearer the time needed. Made the second hole in the undertray today and rubbed it down all ready to go. Will update next week.
