The Runner 50 forks are actually grease filled. using 2 bearing cups on the bottom bearing is a bit of a bodge to be honest, and im not happy with it. The NRG forks were free, they came with a spares Gilera Runner I bought some years ago. Mk1 Runners are getting rare and collectable now, I looked on E-bay... not a single one for sale... I think its worth putting some brand new forks on, while they are still available. And in any case as I said earlier, not much more dearer than crusty old 2nd hand ones.
Today I did a couple of little jobs like fitted brand new front brake pads, and a new brake light switch which im afraid I didnt take pictures of. also my fuel pump diaphragm failed on my maiden voyage around the garden, although I have a spare brand new pump, im waiting on some 6mm fuel hose to arrive from e-bay. also my front forks arrived from Italy... just how fresh do these look
