polishing

had a quick go at polishing my brake res cap this morning any one got any tips on polishing?

All you appeared to have done is taken off the paint Gonna need to sand away the lettering then work down through the grades till its smooth, Maybe use a polishing mop then or get busy with the autosol (or both)

I'd speak to tErr0 for some proper polishing advice, Personally i cant be arsed with watermarks hence i paint everything imp:

yeah lol like i said was a quick attemp just took the paint off smoothed it up a little then put abit of autosol on but will rub right down till the letters are gone then work from their

they look lush mate!

Needs alot more sanding work but getting there.

who cares it looks nice anyway

its handy on a ice you can see it to appreciate the work thats gone into it

it is my first time trying to polish so am not very good but am trying have made a start on trans case aswell
