you can use a smaller radius bend pipe of the same diameter aslong as the length is unchanged...

oh that bit... yue can do what you like... its facing backwards for a reason tho. modding this will affect top speed as at high speed air will be forced into the exhaust similar to a ram air system, just in reverse.

Yeah I would also like to know, can anyone share this information? TBH I really can't see why people own PM's I think it's just a matter of " boy round my endz has one and it does 100mph enit" (translation. I once seen a boy with limited scooter knowledge with one on his bike, he thinks it does 100mph). So then so many people buy them because so many people got them, so it has to be good right? ( us on scootershack know the truth.)

    Also found this entertaining.

    OK heres the rundown

malossi pro's, good pipe, great power but lacking a little on top revs
polini, much the same as the malossi abet slightly different performing altho you couldent really tell one from another other than sound
jolly, great performer, fits verry low so leaves no scope for wheely's
pm59, all out power, at one rpm, absoloutly shit build quality, chav tool (as above) make good power abet its all at the top of the revs so you kill engines, oh and there as brittle as a 90 year old hip
55 somwhere between the jolly and the malossi with similar build quality of the 59 altho the fact its normal shaped not some STUPID gimmiky shape means it lasts better.. little low on the back sop no good for high wheely's

to sum up, you can use any of these 4 and not really see losses.. christ the only way to tell the difference is to try lots of them, even then the spread of power and the sound is al that will change, full throttle (once each is setupo) will be prittymuch the same speed/acceleration the only variation being rpm it sits at. in all, any will do, no need worrying. pick the one you like the look of like everyone else

yes 59's are popular as there verry common and seen as a must have altho i must not. need little setup and give silly revs altho you DONT want to rev these... its all in a chav's head nothing more. ill outperform a 59 anyday with any of the above pipes on an identical bike with somew cunning setup. fuck giving pm money is my honest opinion. why pay lying assholes who wont help out there customers when THERE product fails

Cheers Minor, Can we sticky this ? Or someone do a slight bit of editing and make into a sort of guide thread, will stop majority of the posts. However we all know people will post new threads about it.

not much point.. everyone recons the 59 is the best and theres no better.... even tho they have try'd nothing or set there bike up incorrectly...

you can leade a donky to water but you cant stop it buying a shit built exhaust

i think pms perform good.. but im gettin fuckin sick of the sound.
and the lack of top end power that every pm has given me.

malossi was MUCH better but i didnt know that when i had my one :(

i swear if some one made a pipe that performed well, in a shape as popular as pm's that didnt break as soon as :confused:cratch: you turn the bike on, they would make a shit load of £££

well, thats the idea they all go for... but e marking and production cost usually spoil that...

never know, somone might be nocking somthing up as we speak. tis always the way wiht 2t pipes. there can always be better/stronger pipes. usually cost permitting
