lovely m8 well done purely coz of how long that musta took n how many times ya musta rapped ya knuckles .again very nice
A four stroke you can add things and see what difference they make. A two stroke needs to be built all at one time to get it right. Its like baking a cake you need all the ingeredients right to make it tste right. you dont just use flour then taste and add other stuff later. This engine looks to me like a badly baked cake. The transfer being that low are crazy and i have no idea why they would do it . I am shocked they would put devcon in the postion they did ie on the out let of the transfers regardless if its being scrapped or not by the ring. I would never do that in an engine I build. The only reason i can see the transfers being that low is if the cylinder was ported for a longer stroke crank than what it has , this would make sense as it would bring up the exhaust as well To be honest i would suspect ethier an apprentice was on the job or it was a cylinder that was kicking around the floor from another build and they decided to use it
my own view is it was made from bits they had lying around too ,where they have marked the barrel with stroke length this has been dremeled over and re marked ? i will get it back together and see what its saying ?
hopefully not BANG  LOL nah will be interesting to see... maybee rip the filler out after a dyno run? not hard to replace it afterall (its just pourd in by the looks of things) LOL
this been on the dyno yet???????? lookin sexy as fook. looks like it belongs on a mantle piece though and not in a bike  . i wont one!!!!!!
Who says you cant make a turd shine!!! Hats of to you RED for your involvement in making That engine a work of art But is it really fit for the road? Surely that carb at that angle cant work??
nah the engines laid flat in the pics, think about it. when its in the frame its at an angle of about 20-40 degrees depending on shock etc. so it should be at a good angle when in the frame, its at the same angle as a straight inlet as far as i can tell
