   It looks like some idiot has took an angle grinder to the plastics in an attempt to sand them leaving them with grooves. What would be the best solution to get them all smooth again before I respray them?

   Time and patience more than anything. Filling in panels seemlessly with filler of any sort is a complete pain in the balls.
