how much did u get for the zip and im the same cant keep a bike by the time im ready to go legit on road i end up selling my bike
Got £660 for it in the end, was offered a 04' NRG 70 with 12 months MOT for £350 but I don't think I'm getting anything until I either have to or find a Typhoon!
Doess look good mate, ive always been tempted to make a 172 zip but never been bothered to actually make it, one day i will do it! You still need to get rid of the airbox lol!
OMG! Man I can see that you have Tecnigas RS Maxi exhaust! I bought same but without mount to engine so i had to do it myself. I asked company that cuts by water jet stream and they did it for 20 pounds and it looks same! I will put here photo of it soon!
To be honest I was told it was a Leo Vince but never checked, was just bolted straight on! But yeah, look great on a Zip!
you wanna hope SIA havnt been fucked off by the time it arrives! what level badge you getting? i got door supervisor frontline
Hoping I get it all sorted some time this year, things seem to be taking the piss! Should be sending off for it next week and just basic SIA for manned guarding and retail etc, was all Job Center was training for at the time.
get ready for a long head ache asoon as you send it, its a nightmare! have you ever had a conviction? if so get some references ready. and you will find it hard getting work if im honest, most of them kind of security workers and static are older people and they want experience so just try and get a few event jobs under your belt. too many people are trykng to be door sups and guards when the job centre offer it and just fuck things up when something happens because there not as "hard" as they thought. good luck with it though you will have fun and make some wedge if you find the right people
I've been told it's a ball ache to get a hold of so I'll just have to see how it goes! No convictions so I'm alright. Found loads of work, it's all working in retail though and if I can avoid it I would love to but as you say it's the all important 'experience'. Would love to do some event jobs, company such as Showsec would suit me down to the ground but it's just getting the foot in the door. A mate paid for all his training, did the door supervisor course and was then sat with out work for god knows how long because he wanted to do doors and only doors. With no experience no one looked at him twice.
i payed for mine, cost somewhere around £600 and then it got minded to refuse but because i know a few head doormen and gym owners i managed to get references from them and it was granted, i was promised loads of door work but then a better job came up in another area so moved here then the company lost the contract so now im unemployed  5 months ive been out of work and there is only 3 pubs that have door sups on and no room for me, shame its not like the old school where you could just take the doors but my advice would be to take every security offer you get even if its just a weekend here and there do it i was earing somewhere around £700 every two weeks in my first job
