I recently bought a 50cc piaggio zip and it has been sat outside and hasn't run for a few weeks, I have been starting it up every now and again but when I went to start it a couple of days ago it struggled to start but did, but today it will not start, it ticks over but won't start can anyone help !?

    1. check you have fuel in tank
    2. check battery voltage , just becasue the motor turns over does not mean theres enough power to charge they system and run the starter, a battery must have a decent charge to be able to run the electrical system and starter.
    3. fuel blockage so carb may need to be drained via the drain screw on the bottom of it. no fuel coming out means theres a blockage and the carb is not getting filled up.

hope this helps and welcome to the shack
