well not really I can buy a 100 jets if I have to I just thought I would ask to shorten the amount of jets I have to buy what is it with people and problems with open filters? I asked a simple question if your not going to help but just chat shit then don't bother replying! But thanks guys for the help I got a few boxes of jets today ranging from 90 to 120 so just going to keep trying them unroll I get it right. And the gutting in the shop said the ones I don't use I can take back so that's a bonus
There's no need to insult people. Especially moderators. I'm going on personal experience. As you may see I own a zip too. I use to run a filter on a 50 with just a pipe. I had mine setup on the dyno and guess what it still went bang. Problem being with filters on 50's/low end 70's is that if you have too much fuel it'll cause barrel wash meaning it'll run shit and burn to much fuel/ if your jet is too small you're just going to heat seize your cylinder like I did. Are you really saying that you want induction noise that much that your willing to blow your cylinder up ?
I didn't mean to offend its just people seem to hate open air filters and put in cheap comments like why not run with no filter and stuff like that and there's just no need for that I only asked a question hoping for a bit of help and it's not the noise of the filter or power increase or anything along them lines it's just my standerd box is huge and I prefer the look of the smaller open filter I've spent a lot of time and money on my zip and I didn't really want to put the airbox back on but if that's what I have to do then I'm going to have to order another malossi filter and original jet. See what I mean about the size of it. I like the look where there is a bit of space between the crank and oil tank
