    Hi
    My zip has recently developed an issue
    In which the throttle doesn't close when the leaver is released
    I have replaced the carburettor entirely as well as the fuel tap
    Should I replace the throttle cane or does anyone have any better suggestions
    Thanks in advance
    Watson

    Check the cable to see if it works smoothly. If part of the cable has frayed inside, it might be binding. For peace of mind I would replace it, as you don't want to be riding it when the throttle jams wide open.

    Could also be some crap in the throttle housing itself.

    It could also be that the gaswire is too short (happened to me)

    @Deikoo
    If the gas wire was too short, it would have had the problem since day one.
    Seeing as they say it's "developed" a problem we can assume it is a recent thing
