i have seen a few typhoons with different front panels, what bikes front panel fits onto typhoon ?, also what rims can i get for my typhoon, like bigger rims with thinner tyres?
Re: piaggio typhoon typh and nrg panels are nearly interchangeable nrg panels will go on the front and belly if you change the inners and for the rears i think it involves cutting the frame not really alot of options for wheels just 12 inch nrg wheels with small drum like the nrg in the pic i think but ive seen typhs with what looks like a runner wheel on the back tho so i dunno
Re: piaggio typhoon typh rear pan and front nrg pan look good if you want different rims then you would have to change ure forks typh forks aint that good anyway i would get nrg forks and nrg rims much better
If your running a 50cc typhoon, NRG rear wheel straight on and try and find an early NRG Mc2 front wheel, fit's straight in typhoon forks and has the same size disc, hard to find in the uk but ebay france theres loads of them.
runner wheels fit but only old school ones also nrg ones as marsh says. pm me if you want either i have a few i recently put nrg power ones on but useing the power's forks which looked well. also another good look is low profile tyres one the typhoon wheels
The typhoon pictured is is infact a NRG 50, in the uk it was called a "STORM" sort of a cross breed between the nrg and typhoon and straight out the box, France has loads of these for sale, realy common. The headlights are similer to the speedfight (globe) type, the front panel should fit straight on the typhoon as they have the same legshield panel, i think the front panel looks the dog's!
