This is my typhoon and NRG. The frame number is not a seperate piece welded on, it's part of the frame pressing. I have known of people having a frame number engraved on a piece of flat steel plate then spot weld it on the frame near to the original place. Lambretta auto's do this as you cut out the frame where the number is situated ! No m.o.t man will know how the original frame number look's unless he has one himself !
Thanks marsh that's where I've been looking gonna try and raise the numbers to c if there using acid etching if not try and get another frame which is not proving to be easy as every one I've been offered can't see all numbers thanks anyway o forgot to ask could I use an nrg frame as seem to be a lot easier to get hold of thanks once again
Marsh I ask if you new anyone with frame you said 50/125 do you know anyone with ether I'm 34 always wanted to do a typhoon so if a 125 frame about I'm interested as that what wanted to build in the first place
The NRG is different to typhoon, just get a plate engraved and weld it on. I have a 125 frame but need's a bit of welding !
I wouldn't want to do that how bads the 125 frame Got any pictures of what needs welding got numbers and logbook
I could get some photos up in the next couple of days, it's round a mates house at the minute. I had my 250 twin engine in the frame so had to cut sides out, I have put these back in and you won't see them once built up ! Main stand pivot needs remaking, I have tube to do it, also regulator mount need making up. All numbers intact correct in my name.
Also been offered a frame with numbers sent me pictures of vin trying to do check on it what sort of money you asking and where you based
