    Hi guys,

I took my typhoon 125/172 to a local bike mechanic for a few little things, mainly though to have a malossi gear up kit fitted, and a new gearbox oil seal, cus it's always left a 10p-sized oil patch when I leave it ever since I bought it.
It's a rolling nut motor, btw.
The mechanic phoned me saying he thinks my scoots got the wrong output shaft in it.
Apparently, when he tightens it up he says it locks/won't move, but if he slackens it leaks oil.
He wants me to either get another shaft or get the exact length...
Does anyone have any idea what this mechanic's on about, and if possible, a fix. Or the measurements.
    Thanks.

I'll dig a gear shaft out and measure it up!

    That'd be great mr marsh.
I've just been down to the shop, the mechanic says it looks like the output shaft is too short, and that the gears only sit half-on when he tightens it up.

Here's a photo of the rear axle. 29.88mm from rear end (left) to face of gear. 20161105_171712.jpg

    Brilliant, thanks.
Would you by any chance have the measurement for the shaft length end to end please.

The rear axle is 142mm long. The face of the gear to the face of the bearing is 29.82mm. 20161107_171102.jpg
